There are currently at least eleven active research centers of semiotics in China. Semiotic activities and publications based in and coordinated between these centers since the 14th World Congress of the IASS-AIS have been too many to count. Below is only a representative collection of annual conferences and academic journals in this country that have been well-established and most influential over the past five years.
