CALL FOR PAPER – SPECIAL ISSUE: LINGUISTICS FRONTIERS

The scientific journal Linguistic Frontiers is editing a Special Issue, hosting Dr Pauline Suzanne Delahaye as the guest editor.

This special issue will primarily focus on three key (or closely related) topics:
– unresolved problems in semiotics, particularly in its interaction with other sciences such as biology, neurosciences, language sciences or ethology;
– shifts in semiotic approaches observed in the last decade, especially regarding new breakthroughs, innovative models proposed or new methods used;
– new horizons visible to semiotics, in particular the development of minority branches such as zoosemiotics or of new linguistic and cultural areas, like Latin America.

We are now calling for papers, and will be glad to read your contribution on connected topics, such as:
*Zoolinguistics, zoosemiotics and animal ethology; *Biosemiotics, semiotics applied to neurosciences and semiotics applied to psychology;
*Major changes in semiotics (breakthroughs, new areas of application, new models, new methodologies).
*Semiotics in recent cultural and/or linguistic areas.

The due date is 30/04/2025. Propositions will undergo standard peer-review process. Only papers in English can be accepted. Detailed instructions for the authors can be found here:
