Call for Contributions: Panel on semiotics at the 2026 congress of the Italian Society of Political Science
Between 3 and 5 September 2026, the 39th edition of the annual congress of the Italian Association for Political Science (SISP) will take place in Trento, Italy. More information about the event can be found here: https://www.sisp.it/en/conference-2026
One of the panels, now accepting proposals for presentations, is called “Identity and culture: semiotics and memory in social movements and collective action” (with number 5.13). It is convened by our colleague Sebastián Moreno, from Uruguay, together withthe doctoral students in political science Stefano Filippini and Jamievee Bautista, from the University of Pisa, Italy. The main goal of the panel is to bring together scholars studying social movements with a focus on meaning, identity, culture and memory.
